Restaurant Marketing Ideas for March
Business owners can find many great restaurant marketing ideas for March.
Business owners often tell us they would like to do more textALERTs, but sometimes they have trouble coming up with new & creative ideas to keep their offers and announcements fresh. We find that using holidays, (traditional and quirky ones), can give merchants plenty of fresh ideas.
For food service-related businesses, here are specific days of the month to get your marketing ideas soaring such as Pig Day, Cold Cuts Day, Peanut Cluster Day, Waffle Day and many more.
Other days that stick out to use for excellent marketing options are: National Anthem Day, Dentist’s Day, Smart and Sexy Day, World Theater Day, etc.! Using these types of fun holidays to promote your business may result in marketing success you will enjoy and provide a fun, memorable experience for your customers.
We suggest sending two to four textALERTs out to your subscribers every month to keep your business on the top of your customer’s minds and fully engaged with your business. To help you come up with ideas for the campaigns, here is a large list of upcoming March holidays that could be useful.

textALERT examples from last month
Last month, a Mexican Restaurant in Auburn, KY ran a textALERT offering their subscribers a BOGO half off an entree offer. The campaign was able to drive in over 5% of their total subscribers in that time span. They texted 1197 subscribers at one time, driving in 60 extra people. See the message below.
Another textALERT example sent last month was one from a Coffee Shop in Owensboro KY. They used a filter in the textALERT wizard sending the offer to only people who had previously visited in February, (140 subscribers), driving in 20 of that small amount, (14.29%) to redeem an offer of $1 Off a specialty latte. Very smart of them to save credits by segmenting their latest visiting customers & rewarding them while driving them back in for an offer of a specialty item.
